in Ipswich, MA.

Describe what hurts, when it started, and whether a tooth or restoration has been damaged. Our team can help you arrange an evaluation and explain the next step.

A toothache that needs attention

Persistent pain or sensitivity can make eating and sleeping difficult. Call to discuss your symptoms and the next available visit.

02 / BROKEN TEETH

A cracked or broken tooth

Tell us how the damage happened and whether you have pain. An examination helps determine whether a dental crown or another treatment is appropriate.

A lost crown or filling

A damaged restoration can leave a tooth uncomfortable or exposed. Contact our team to arrange an assessment and discuss tooth-colored fillings or other restoration options.

04 / SWELLING

Call promptly about new swelling or a possible dental infection. Let the team know if symptoms are getting worse. Your dentist can explain whether root canal therapy or another treatment is appropriate.

A sudden injury can affect your comfort and confidence. Call and explain what happened so we can discuss the next step.

06 / TREATMENT OPTIONS

When a broken front tooth
needs a same-day plan.

Watch a real Ipswich emergency case, then explore the treatment images below.

The case at a glance

A broken front tooth.
A fixed temporary tooth.

An existing crown, post, and core came out together, leaving too little healthy tooth structure for a predictable repair. After evaluating the remaining root, bone, gums, and appearance of the smile, the Ipswich team determined that the tooth could not be reliably saved.

The damaged tooth was removed, an implant and graft were placed, and a custom fixed temporary crown was attached during the same visit. The permanent zirconia crown was completed after healing. Same-day temporary teeth are limited to selected cases and depend on the examination and implant stability.

Insurance & payment

Emergency dental care:
costs and coverage.

An unexpected dental problem brings enough uncertainty. Ask our team about your benefits, estimated costs, and the payment arrangements available for your recommended care.

Have dental insurance?

Ipswich Bay Dental accepts many major PPO plans and helps patients understand and maximize available benefits. Coverage and network participation depend on your specific plan.

Visiting without insurance?

You can still call for emergency care. Ask the team for an estimate and available payment arrangements before treatment begins.

Have questions about cost?

The examination determines what treatment is appropriate. We can explain the proposed care, expected stages, and estimated fees before you decide how to proceed.

for Ipswich patients.

Do you offer same-day emergency dental appointments in Ipswich?

Yes. New and existing patients can call for emergency care. Explain what happened, when symptoms began, and whether the concern is getting worse so the team can check the next available visit.
